At the sight of Carabinieri, the two accomplices managed to escape, while the 19-year-old was stopped after a short chase. A jammer, a device used to inhibit electronic anti-theft systems, was found in the vehicle.

The device was seized, while the SUV was returned to its rightful owner. Investigations are continuing to identify the fugitive accomplices. The episode once again shines a spotlight on the dangers of using technological devices such as jammers, which are increasingly used in the theft of luxury vehicles.

I agree with you, it is essential that the Carabinieri do their duty and that measures are taken against those who commit such crimes. The safety of people must be a priority.

This situation is worrying and makes us think about how car thefts are increasing. It is important that the authorities continue to monitor these illegal activities to protect citizens.
