The Court of Avellino has ordered the release of GR, a 39-year-old resident of Cervinara, previously subjected to precautionary measures related to an accusation of aggravated mistreatment in the family.
The preliminary hearing judge granted the request presented by the lawyer Vittorio Fucci, allowing GR to be released, thus revoking the restrictions that included the prohibition of approaching within approximately 500 meters of his mother and leaving the family residence.
GR is accused of subjecting his mother to aggravated mistreatment for a prolonged period. During the day, the first hearing of the trial with abbreviated procedure was held. On this occasion, the judge, after having deliberated for the release of the accused, established a postponement to allow the hearing of the victim, who is represented in the courtroom by the lawyer Isidoro Taddeo.
