Naples. Homemade and dangerous firecrackers, ready to be shipped directly to your home, were found by the Carabinieri of the Bagnoli operational unit in a warehouse in San Pietro a Patierno. Among the buildings of via Cupa Arcamone, the police discovered a warehouse full of illegal explosives, including the infamous “Cobras”.
The dangerousness of these devices is sadly known: the same ones had also been found in Herculaneum, in the house that exploded last November 18th, causing the death of three young illegal workers and the consequent arrest of the owner of the apartment,
In the warehouse, in addition to the 75 “Cobra” canisters, a homemade device weighing 50 grams and seven “multi-jet” fireworks with 100 shots each were found. All the material, described in the seizure report, was entrusted to the bomb disposal experts of the Provincial Command of Naples for safe disposal.
The 21-year-old owner of the illegal shop was placed under house arrest. The young man is accused of illegal possession and trade of explosive material.

It is really worrying that there are still people selling these dangerous fireworks. The safety of citizens must be a priority, and we hope that the authorities will take more severe measures against those who commit crimes of this type.
