After a tackle that left Gianluigi Donnarumma with a facial injury, Wilfried Singo, responsible for the incident, personally apologized to the goalkeeper. However, despite the apology, Singo has received harsh racist attacks on social media.

In a statement, AS Monaco said: "AS Monaco condemns in the strongest terms the unacceptable racist comments made on social media towards Wilfried Singo after the match against Paris Saint-Germain. Such behavior has no place in sport, both on and off the pitch, and is in total contradiction to the values ​​the club upholds. The club gives its full support to Wilfried."
