According to investigators, starting last January, the organization would have implemented a criminal strategy aimed at obtaining control of the territory, imposing bribes on construction contractors, merchants and economic operators. To achieve its objectives, the clan would not have hesitated to resort to threats, damage and dynamite attacks.
According to the DDA, the operational summit also included Salvatore Barbato, Jonathan Piglia and Salvatore Ambrosio, active mainly in drug dealing and racketeering. The three, in collaboration with Vincenzo Russo, would have organised several meetings to plan the raids, carrying out targeted inspections to identify the victims to be hit. Salvatore Iorio, on the other hand, would have concentrated on drug management and on organising meetings with rival clans, also aimed at possible retaliation.

The situation seems increasingly difficult and complicated, we hope that the investigations will lead to concrete results. The safety of citizens must be a priority for all of us.
Indeed, the fight against the Camorra is crucial, but I wonder if the operations are sufficient to stop these groups. A constant commitment from the state and the community is needed.
This situation in Casoria is very complex and shows how organized crime continues to affect people's lives. It is important that the authorities continue to work to combat these illicit activities.
