Not only television; Stefano De Martino, currently busy on Rai Uno with “Affari Tuoi”, continues his interaction with the public also live. He is preparing to return to Naples with his “quasi-one man show”, recording four sold outs before the debut.
Show Details
From December 26 to 29, the original show “Meglio stasera”, written by De Martino together with Riccardo Cassini, who also signs the direction, arrives at the Politeama theater in Naples after having stopped in various Italian cities. At the end of these four dates, on February 7 and 8, a new performance is scheduled at the Teatro Brancaccio in Rome.
The title “Meglio stasera” draws inspiration from the song “Meglio stasera che domani o mai”, performed by Miranda Martino and arranged by Ennio Morricone. On stage, De Martino will be joined by the eight orchestral musicians of the Disperata Erotica Band and will present musical games, mash ups and singing virtuosity following a very precise rule: “It’s never just one song at a time”.
Contents of the Show
The show, lasting two hours, will offer moments of entertainment between smiles and narrations. The audience will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of De Martino. His personal story will be told, starting from his childhood in a fascinating and complex context, up to the anecdotes related to his experiences as a greengrocer, dancer and entertainer.
Against the backdrop of an artistic career, two figures of De Martino emerge: that of the 'crooner' and that of the dancer. Although he declares that he has accumulated a bit of "rust" between the joints, he will be supported in choreographies by professional dancers, former colleagues from past experiences.
Finally, the unpredictable De Martino emerges, capable of interacting with the audience through gags, humorous monologues, cultured references and improvisations.

I've heard about this show and it seems interesting, but I'm not sure if I'll go see it. De Martino's story is fascinating, but I hope it's all well done and not just chatter.
