Since this morning, about a hundred workers from Transnova, a company specializing in logistics and transportation, have begun a protest in front of the gates of the Stellantis plant in Pomigliano d'Arco. The demonstration, which began at 6 a.m., is a response to the failure to renew the order with Stellantis, whose contract will expire on December 31.
The blockade of the entry of goods caused long queues of trucks and articulated lorries on the access road to the factory, attracting the attention not only of the local media but also of prominent politicians. Alongside the workers, who also come from the Cassino and Melfi sites, representatives of the Fismic and Fiom unions lined up, as well as deputies Marco Saracino of the Democratic Party and Alessandro Caramiello of the 5 Star Movement.
According to the employees of Transnova, approximately 400 in total are employed in the Italian factories of Stellantis, and now they risk being fired if the agreement with the car giant is not renewed. The situation is tense and the protest continues, with workers demanding clarity and security for their future employment.

It is important that people unite to protest against the dismissal, but it is also true that the situation is complicated and it is not known how it will end. I hope that there are solutions for everyone.
