The withdrawal of collective dismissal procedures for 249 workers and the renewal of the supply contract for an additional 12 months. These are the main results of the agreement reached between Stellantis and Trasnova during the meeting held at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, attended by the confederal and sector unions, representatives of the regions, and local authorities involved.
Trasnova, based in Cassino (province of Frosinone), operates as a single-client with Stellantis, providing logistics services for several of the Group's plants. In recent days, the company announced collective layoffs for 97 employees distributed between Pomigliano, Mirafiori, Melfi and Piedimonte San Germano, following the suspension of the supply contract by Stellantis, scheduled to start on December 31. This decision had triggered a domino effect, also leading the subcontractors Logitech and Tecnoservice to initiate layoff procedures for 101 and 51 workers respectively, for a total of 249 people.
During the meeting,Stellantis reiterated its willingness to keep the dialogue open with all parties involved, committing to extend the contract with Transnova for another year. In response, Trasnova declared the immediate withdrawal of dismissal procedures, including those of subcontractors, and committed to exploring new areas of development to reduce dependence on a single client.

Carousels of cars in front of the gates of the factory in Pomigliano
The few Trasnova workers remaining at the picket line in front of the Stellantis plant in Pomigliano d'Arco celebrated the one-year extension agreement with Caroselli di Auto in the square in front of the factory. The news of the layoffs' withdrawal reassured the protesters, who were surrounded by Stellantis workers who had been keeping them company since this morning. According to leaks, the workers will now have to leave the picket line to allow the plant, which has been closed since last Tuesday due to a lack of materials, to resume operations.

It is a complicated situation for Trasnova and Stellantis. We hope that the contract renewal will help the workers and avoid further layoffs. The decisions taken are important for the future of the auto sector, but we must be careful.
