Torre Annunziata. Morello Bevilacqua, 31, originally from Torre Annunziata, was arrested in Cinesello Balsamo and accused of having wounded his brother-in-law Antonio Abruzzese, 39, with gunshots to the legs last April 9th in Viale Marche in Milan.
The reason for the attack is to be found in a sort of internal feud between the two Sinti families to which the arrested and the injured belong. The attack was preceded by a series of threats and insults on TikTok between the protagonists of the story.
The thirty-nine-year-old was hit as he was about to get into his car, parked on Viale Marche: four gunshots were fired at him. The scene was witnessed by some passers-by. Following the wound, the victim was transported in emergency to the Niguarda hospital, where he remained hospitalized for about two months due to the serious injuries to his legs.
To ascertain what happened, the investigators performed biological tests and viewed the cameras in the area, telephone records and various social profiles. They therefore collected serious evidence of guilt against the thirty-one-year-old.
Some of his relatives then allowed us to document - also thanks to the analysis of biological traces found at the crime scene - the direct involvement of the suspect. The man, found at his home, was taken to the San Vittore prison awaiting the preliminary hearing.
