A man of 58 years, originally from Vibo Valentia, was found lifeless in his bedroomhotel in the Gulf of Policastro, in the province of Salerno. The discovery occurred yesterday afternoon, when a colleague, suspicious of the man's absence from the workplace, went to the hotel and made the tragic discovery.
The 58-year-old was in Policastro for work reasons, engaged together with other colleagues in a guard service at the railway yards in the area. The following intervened on site Carabinieri of the Sapri Company, who carried out the initial surveys and started investigations to clarify the circumstances of the death.
La Prosecutor of Lagonegro has opened a file and ordered investigations to determine the causes of death, which remain unknown at the moment. The body has been transferred to the mortuary of theImmaculate Conception Hospital Sapri, where it could undergo an external inspection as early as the next few hours.
