A scam worth almost 200 thousand euros involved 30 people, including unsuspecting professionals, who allegedly obtained compensation for accidents that never happened from the insurance company UnipolSai.
The investigation, launched in Bologna under the leadership of prosecutor Tommaso Pierini, has led to the conclusion of the preliminary investigations. The documents were notified by the municipal police of Angri, led by commander Anna Galasso.

24 of the suspects live in the Salerno area, almost half of whom live in Angri, in the shadow of the Doria Castle. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the suspects allegedly fabricated evidence, including reports falsified hospital records, even with mistakes in the names of doctors. Some physiotherapy centers listed in the documents were not even authorized to operate.
Lawyers from the province of Salerno involved
Among those involved are prominent names, including a lawyer from Angri, one from Salerno and one from Pagani, in addition to the owners of two accident law firms, one in Maiori and the other in Angri. A complex network of alleged illicit activities that has shed light on a fraudulent system whose implications are yet to be clarified.
