Carabinieri and staff from the Naples Local Health Authority (ASL) 1 carried out checks at the nightlife venues of Vomero. Particular attention was also paid to checking the commercial establishments in the area frequented by young people on weekends.
Of the 17 businesses inspected, many were found to be non-compliant with health and safety regulations and tax regulations.

It is important that there are controls to ensure safety in the Vomero premises. However, it seems strange to me that only 17 businesses have been inspected, perhaps they should do more to have a real impact.
