The Naples Film and Audiovisual Festival (NA.FAFE') will take place from March 10 to 13, 2025, at the Cinema America Hall in Naples. This debut event was made possible thanks to the support of the City of Naples as part of the Cohousing Cinema Napoli project and is organized by Camella Srls.
### Objectives and Structure of the Festival
The festival aims to offer a platform of visibility to local and international film productions, with a particular focus on short films and short documentaries. A key element will be the involvement of works closely linked to Naples, through settings, themes or the participation of local talents.
### Educational and Social Involvement
A distinguishing feature of NA.FAFE' is the active participation of schools. Students will not only attend screenings, but will also contribute to the evaluation of the competing works, with the awarding of special prizes. The aim is to bring young people closer to cinema and encourage reflections on social issues, such as inclusion and marginalization.
### Participation Details
From January 31 to February 20, 2025, it will be possible to participate in the call for short films and short documentaries through the [official website](https://filmfreeway.com/NAFAFE2025). The works can be registered for free, following the themes of the festival. In addition to the technical jury, the young audience will award the prize for the Best Short. The event will end with a special screening out of competition, in the presence of important guests from the world of cinema. The artistic director Raffaele Riccio highlighted the importance of the festival as an opportunity to explore contemporary themes and to celebrate Naples' ability to be an artistic laboratory where tradition and innovation come together to create new narratives.
