The carabinieri of Afragola they completed an important investigative operation that led to the identification and reporting of a 40-year-old resident in the area.
The man, already known to the authorities, is accused of a series of thefts committed against the Europa Unita school, located in the Salicelle district of Afragola.
Thefts in schools
During the period between December and January, the resident allegedly stole various school supplies, including crayons intended for children, in a sequence of 12 separate theft incidents.
The value of the entire loot was estimated significantly, although the proceeds from the sale of the items would have been used to purchase narcotics. This operation highlights a growing security problem in local educational institutions.
