Caserta - Three arrests and six reports were made during the extraordinary patrol conducted yesterday evening by the Carabinieri of the Caserta Company, with the support of the Castel Morrone, Casagiove, San Nicola la Strada, and Ruviano stations.
The operation, aimed at ensuring safety during the city's nightlife hours, involved ten patrols and a total of 30 soldiers.
The activities, aimed at preventing and repressing property and drug crimes, as well as capturing individuals with restrictive measures, have led to significant results.
Arrest him
During the service, in Castel Morrone, the military arrested a 70-year-old criminal, recipient of a prison order issued by the Attorney General's Office at the Court of Appeal of Naples. The man, convicted of aggravated theft, will have to serve a cumulative sentence of two years and six months in prison.
In Caiazzo, a 67-year-old criminal was reached at his home by the Carabinieri of the local station. He too has been issued a prison order by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere. He will have to serve a sentence of six years and three months for crimes such as receiving stolen goods, attempted extortion and arbitrary exercise of one's rights.

The third arrest took place in Caserta, where a 59-year-old criminal was notified with a prison order. Convicted of embezzlement, escape and theft, he will have to serve a sentence of four years and one month in prison. The arrested were transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
The complaints
During the checks, the patrols identified 200 people and checked 80 vehicles. Six people were reported at large for crimes ranging from document falsification (counterfeit Albanian driving license) to repeated driving without a license, illegal residence, evasion from house arrest, unjustified possession of weapons (a 15 cm knife) and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Sanctions and seizures
The service also led to the notification of 43 violations of the Highway Code. Four licenses were withdrawn, 12 cars were seized and three vehicles were subjected to administrative detention.
