Baby gangs are increasingly unleashed and dominate the streets and squares of Naples: in particular the residents of Piazza Gian Vincenzo Gravina, in the Arenaccia area.

The latter are seriously worried and every evening they have to board up their windows and balconies because of the smoke that comes from the bonfires set up by a group of kids who set fire to waste found in the area.

A sort of ritual to overcome the cold of the night but also to mark the territory. The fire to keep away intruders and enemies, including the police.

Many have turned to the Green-Left alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, documenting the scenario, to raise the alarm.

“We have asked the Police Headquarters to intervene clearly and decisively before something very serious can happen” - declares Borrelli - “A strategic plan is needed to address the problem in its entirety given that baby gangs, as has been said several times, are now the most unpredictable and therefore most dangerous form of crime that is rampant in our territory, and continuing to procrastinate and underestimate the issue will only give these young delinquents more courage and more power. Now we must take the field without further delay”
