A 75-year-old man was rushed to Luigi Curto Hospital in Polla following an attack by his German Shepherd dog. The incident occurred this afternoon in a rural area in the municipality of Casalbuono, in the Vallo di Diano region.
The elderly man was approached by his dog in front of his home and suddenly attacked, resulting in an injury to his arm. Due to the injuries, he had to be transported in red code to the emergency room of the Luigi Curto hospital in Polla.
Once at the hospital, the 75-year-old was immediately treated by medical staff. He was then transferred to the orthopedics and trauma department, where he is currently hospitalized for further treatment. Doctors are carefully monitoring his health.
