Rome - During 2024, INPS approved nearly 760 applications for the Inclusion Allowance (ADI), involving approximately 1,82 million people.

Data updated to December indicate that almost 608 thousand families have benefited from an average amount of 627 euros.

The geographical distribution of accepted applications shows a strong concentration in the South and the Islands, with over 518 thousand approved applications, representing 68,3% of the total.

Campania leads the ranking with 182 thousand approved requests, followed by Sicily with 156 thousand. In the North, the accepted requests stand at around 100 thousand, while in the Center they were almost 140 thousand.

The Adi has provided support to several vulnerable categories: 235 thousand families with minors, 229 thousand with disabled people and 302 thousand with members over 60. In addition, 12 thousand families include people in disadvantaged conditions.

The Minister of Labour, Marina Calderone, has underlined that the Inclusion Allowance has definitively replaced the Basic income, offering targeted support to the most vulnerable segments of the population and stimulating employment. Significant is the data according to which 26% of families that benefited from the Citizenship Income saw at least one member find work in 2024.

However, one point of concern remains: 265 thousand former beneficiaries of the Citizenship Income have not applied for either the ADI or other training support, raising questions about the fate of these families and the need for further interventions to ensure inclusive and effective coverage.

The Inclusion Allowance seems to be an important measure to support families, but there are many people who have not applied and this is a problem to consider. We hope there is more information to help them.
