Structure and content of the film
“Bestiari, erbari, lapidari” is an encyclopedic work divided into three acts, each dedicated to a different subject: animals, plants and stones. The documentary explores worlds often overlooked but fundamental to our existence. Each segment of the film pays homage to a particular documentary genre: from the use of found-footage in representing animals, to the poetic observations of plants at the Botanical Garden of Padua, to an industrial and emotional analysis of the transformation of stone.
Realization and support
Massimo D'Anolfi and Martina Parenti followed every phase of the project, from production to direction, also taking care of photography, sound and editing. Organized with the support of Parallelo 41 Produzioni, Coinor, and the University of Naples Federico II, AstraDoc also has the patronage of the Municipality of Naples. Tickets are available at 5 euros, with a reduced price for Arci members at 4 euros. Further details are accessible on the social media of AstraDoc and Arci Movie.

I read the article about the documentary Bestiari, erbari, lapidari and it seems interesting to me. The structure in three acts dedicated to animals, plants and stones is very original and could offer a new point of view on these topics. I hope that the screening in Naples will attract many spectators.
