In the province of Avellino, two fuel service stations were the target of a night-time robbery by a specialized gang.
The events occurred along the Ofantina state road, specifically in Manocalzati and Chiusano San Domenico, where the criminals, using a stolen van, tore up and removed the automatic cash registers from the two facilities.
The gang's operation appeared to be well-organized and fast. The group acted in the middle of the night, ensuring maximum effectiveness of the robbery. The automatic cash registers, uprooted from the ground, were the main target. The value of the stolen money is still being assessed, but it is assumed to be considerable.
The Carabinieri of the Avellino provincial command are actively engaged in the search for those responsible, using every available resource to obtain useful information and recover the stolen goods.
