Avellino – New Year's Eve in Avellino turned into a scene of chaos and fear. Dozens of people were involved in a massive brawl near the Villa Comunale, a few minutes before the start of the concert of Coez. The images, which show young people fighting each other with kicks, punches and blunt objects, quickly made the rounds on social media and were sent to the member of the Green Left Alliance, Francesco Emilio Borrelli.

The episode has sparked strong indignation among the citizens of Avellino, who are calling for more controls and security during public events. “We cannot allow a minority to ruin moments of celebration for the entire community. We must work together to ensure that similar episodes never happen again,” said a resident.
