The Court of Cassation, Section II, has annulled the conviction of MVC, 59, a well-known lawyer from Cervinara, accused of fraud. The decision came after the acceptance of the appeal presented by the lawyer Vittorio Fucci, who requested the rescission of the judgment.
MVC, a figure already known to the national news for the accusations of having falsely declared herself the sister of a prominent magistrate, had been sentenced in the first instance by the Court of Avellino. This sentence had been confirmed on appeal by the Court of Appeal of Naples. However, the Supreme Court he overturned the situation, arranging a new trial at the Court of Avellino: we start from scratch.
