Bacoli. On the night of January 10-11, 2025, Carabinieri officers from the Pozzuoli branch conducted an extraordinary territorial control operation in Bacoli, identifying 130 people and inspecting 43 vehicles.
Two men were arrested for aggravated theft: Massimo Polverino, 52 years old Naples, and Iveri Namoradze, 36, both with criminal records. The two were caught while trying to steal bottles of spirits from a supermarket on Via Luciano.
During the same operation, a 30-year-old and a 29-year-old were reported after being stopped on board a car containing burglary tools, useful for breaking into vehicles.
There was no shortage of traffic code checks. A 45-year-old was reported for driving a van with foreign license plates and a falsified registration document.
Finally, two young people were reported to the Prefecture for possession of small quantities of narcotic substances.
