Bacoli. On the night between 10 and 11 January 2025, the Carabinieri of the Pozzuoli company conducted an extraordinary operation to control the territory in Bacoli, identifying 130 people and inspecting 43 vehicles.
Two men were arrested for aggravated theft: Massimo Polverino, 52 years old Napoli, and Iveri Namoradze, 36, both with criminal records. The two were caught while trying to steal bottles of spirits from a supermarket on Via Luciano.
During the same operation, a 30-year-old and a 29-year-old were reported after being stopped on board a car containing burglary tools, useful for breaking into vehicles.
There was no shortage of traffic code checks. A 45-year-old was reported for driving a van with foreign license plates and a falsified registration document.
Finally, two young people were reported to the Prefecture for possession of small quantities of narcotic substances.

and it's a really strange situation in Bacoli, I don't understand why there are so many people who start stealing instead of working. The controls are very important but I hope that there isn't too much fear among the people.
