The military arrives on the scene and rings the bell of the indicated apartment, but no one answers from inside. At that point the firefighters are called to force the door. As the flex is about to go into action, threatening screams can be heard from the rooms: a 45-year-old man shouts that he wants to hurt anyone who tries to get close. His mother, 76, and his partner are at home with him.
The situation immediately appears delicate. carabinieri, in agreement with the firefighters, they decide to retreat to try to calm the man. However, the 45-year-old refuses to cooperate and demands that the police leave the scene.

The negotiators, with patience and perseverance, start a discussion based on listening and respect, which lasts over an hour.
The 45-year-old surrendered after more than an hour
Eventually, the 45-year-old gives up and opens the door. No one was injured during the operation. The man was then handed over to the 118 staff and transferred to theSea Hospital for further investigations.
A long and delicate intervention that ended without consequences thanks to the professionalism of the carabinieri and negotiators.
