The police force continues its work to combat thefts in the Telesina Valley, in the territory of Benevento and thanks to the intensification of controls, ordered by the Prefect of Benevento, there have been new arrests.
Following the arrest of three people of Albanian origin in Solopaca on Tuesday evening, last night the Carabinieri of the Cerreto Sannita Company's Mobile Radio Unit identified a suspicious vehicle parked inside the former Forestry barracks in San Salvatore Telesino, now in a state of abandonment.
Suspicious of the situation, the soldiers requested the support of a patrol from the Telese Terme Police Station and intervened.

During the check, the two were also found in possession of 2 grams of marijuana. Taken to the Cerreto Sannita Company, the stolen goods, the tools used and the narcotic substance were seized.
The position of the two men is now being examined by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Benevento, while for possession of drugs for personal use they have been reported to the Prefecture of residence. The investigations continue to ascertain any further responsibilities.
