Benevento, “I’ll make you eat the cemetery soil, I’ll throw you a party”: trial of violent husband

He had beaten and threatened to kill his wife even in front of their minor children and yesterday a 37-year-old from Melito Irpino was sent to trial for mistreatment in the family.

The defendant defended by the lawyer Michele Ciruolo will have to appear before the judges of panel 1 (Judges Dr. Fallarino/Rotilir) of the Court of Benevento on September 9th. The injured party constituted as a civil party is defended by the lawyer Cinzia Capone

The man is accused of having created a climate of abuse and violence towards his wife, with conduct that would have compromised the serenity of the family and the safety of the victim.

According to what emerged, the man had adopted habitual violent and aggressive behavior, including particularly serious episodes: forcefully slamming the doors of the house, chasing his wife brandishing a chair, hitting her head against the window of a car, hitting her, throwing objects at her and causing injuries, including a fracture of the little finger of her left hand.

The woman was allegedly subjected to constant insults and humiliations, including denigrating expressions such as: “You’re stupid, you don’t understand anything, whore…” There were also explicit and disturbing threats, such as: “I’ll throw you into a pillar, I’ll make you eat cemetery soil, I’ll throw a party for you.”

“I’ll dig a ditch for you with the excavator and bury you alive.”

The family picture described would outline a climate of oppression and psychological violence that would have made cohabitation unsustainable, forcing the couple to separate. However, according to the accusations, the threatening and offensive behavior would have continued even after the separation, with intimidating voice and text messages, often in the presence of third parties. Among the reported phrases are: “Pu… I’ll shoot you, I’ll take you… I’ll dig a ditch for you with the excavator and I’ll bury you alive.”
