Casal di Principe - The Carabinieri of the San Prisco Station arrested a 24-year-old Albanian, with no fixed abode in Italy, caught selling cocaine.
The episode occurred shortly after 20.00pm yesterday in Via Verdi, where the young man, in a suspicious manner, handed over a dose of cocaine to a 33-year-old originally from Caserta in exchange for cash.
The military, engaged in a territorial control service, noticed the exchange without the pusher realizing their presence. Only when the Carabinieri intervened, the 33-year-old buyer immediately handed over the dose he had just purchased, and was then reported to the Prefecture of Caserta as a user of narcotic substances.
During the search, five heat-sealed packages containing additional doses of cocaine were found in the wallet of the 24-year-old Albanian, as well as 345,00 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity. The young man was arrested and taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where he is now available to the judicial authorities to answer to the charges of possession for the purpose of dealing in narcotics.
