Casoria. The decision of the municipality of Casoria regarding the fourth installment of the Tari, which would have increased, impacting the pockets of Casoria residents, is causing quite a bit of discussion. The city party of FdI denounced it through a poster (in the photo). “

Faced with citizens' problems, the mayor knows nothing but to throw the ball into the stands, passing the buck to other institutions: so much so that one would wonder what he is doing in the mayor's chair, besides collecting his function allowance! This time, the decisions on the waste disposal fee have been justified with ministerial provisions, Arera circulars and other convoluted reasoning.

However, citizens do not need reflections on the highest systems; they expect answers, in the appropriate places and not on social media, and solutions on the shameful affair of the fourth instalment of TARI for 2024!

“The issue does not concern the comparison with other municipalities in the province – the Melonians point out – which certainly do not represent a virtuous parameter: residents of Bergamo, for example, pay on average two thirds less, for a collection service carried out twice a day.

The real problems are represented by the direct management of Casoria Ambiente, with the critical issues recently highlighted by the opposition; by the poor capacity to collect taxes, despite the outsourcing of the service; in general, by the unhealthy relationship of this administration with public accounts and resources!”

. “Therefore – they say – on this specific aspect, through our group leader, Nicola Mangani, we will propose the establishment of an investigative commission. Article 39 of the regulation for the functioning of the city council allows it: but it requires that the request be formulated by a quarter of the assigned city councilors.

It will be an opportunity to understand which political forces really care about the good of the community and which instead about the seats and the perks! We expect that the five-star municipal councilors, expression of a political movement that has made transparency its "core business", will support our proposal".

The issue of TARI in Casoria seems truly complex and difficult. Citizens are rightly concerned about the increase in costs and the lack of clear answers from the mayor. It is important that these issues are clarified.
