Now, however, they are asking for an apology from those who discredited them. “They called us Camorrists and beasts, now apologize,” wrote one of them on Facebook.

The story had sparked controversy after the teacher had been attacked by her parents, an episode that had drawn sympathy for the teacher, who was then admitted to the emergency room. According to the mothers, no one had taken their side.

“When we discovered the chats that proved the relationship between the teacher and our children, we asked that she be removed immediately,” explain the moms, denouncing the slowness of the school authorities, who had decided to wait for the results of the investigations before acting.

“Now they should apologize to us for what they told us”

"Those who didn't believe us, those who looked the other way, those who insulted us by calling us members of the Camorra, beasts and liars, now apologize. Justice has been done," another mother wrote on social media, celebrating the teacher's arrest.

Interviewed by Tgr Campania, one of the mothers maintained a more conciliatory tone: "We are satisfied, but there are still points to clarify. We do not want the blame of those who acted badly to fall on honest teachers, who do their job with passion".
