Torino has announced its first signing of the winter transfer window: Eljif Elmas, a Macedonian attacking midfielder arriving from Leipzig, landed a few minutes ago at Malpensa Airport and is on his way to Turin.
This afternoon Elmas will undergo medical examinations at the Institute of Sports Medicine, located inside the Stadio Olimpico Grande TurinBorn in 1999, he boasts significant experience in the Italian championship, having worn the Napoli shirt between 2019 and 2022.
With Napoli, he won a Scudetto and a Coppa Italia, demonstrating versatility and quality in attack. Torino acquired him from the German club on loan with an option to buy for around €18 million. The attacking midfielder's arrival represents an important addition to the Granata, which is aiming to strengthen its squad for the second half of the season.
