Checks at Naples Central Station: two arrests

Naples - As part of the "Safe Stations" plan to implement security and territorial control services at Naples Central Station, personnel from the Campania Railway Police Department arrested two Neapolitans, aged 42 and 59, serving prison sentences.

In particular, the police officers of the Operations Department, following a check outside the station, executed the above-mentioned order against the 42-year-old, issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Napoli - Criminal Enforcement Office - according to which, the aforementioned will have to serve an 8-month prison sentence for receiving stolen goods, a crime committed in Naples in 2017.

Also in the same afternoon, the officers checked the 59-year-old in Piazza Garibaldi and, from the investigations carried out below, it emerged that the defendant was the recipient of the above-mentioned provision, issued by the Attorney General of the Republic at the Court of Appeal of Rome according to which the man will have to serve a sentence of 3 years, 4 months and 24 days of imprisonment for drug-related crimes, crimes against property and theft and damage to seized property.
