A criminal incident has shattered the tranquility of Crispano, where a burglar armed with a knife attempted to break into a home in Piazza Trieste e Trento. A couple and their young daughter were inside at the time of the break-in.

A first off-duty police officer intervened on the scene and attempted to stop and disarm the intruder.
