Caggiano - Dozens of families in the municipality of Caggiano, in the province of Salerno, are still without electricity due to the heavy snowfall that hit the area yesterday morning.
The towns of Massa, Ingito, Grotta Rossa and Piedi La Chiaia were particularly hard hit, with power supply suspended for over twenty hours due to power cables breaking under the weight of the snow.
Despite the efforts of three Enel teams that worked tirelessly throughout the night, the electricity grid has not yet been restored. Recovery operations, which began at dawn, are focused on securing the damaged cable sections. According to Enel's forecasts, the situation should return to normal by 13:XNUMX p.m. today.
The mayor of Caggiano maintains constant contact with the Prefecture of Salerno and the Enel emergency room to monitor the evolution of the situation and ensure rapid and coordinated intervention.
