The Gerardo Di Lella Grand Òrchestra will stop in Naples on January 4, 2025 at the Palapartenope in Fuorigrotta with the concert “The Best of Disney Music”. This event comes after the orchestra’s performances at the Auditorium della Conciliazione in Rome and the Teatro Repower in Milan on December 8 and 27 of this year, respectively.

The concert will be dedicated to the famous music of Disney classics, with songs from iconic films such as Snow White, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, up to the more recent successes of Frozen and The Lion King.
The orchestra will be composed of 90 musicians and will include a choir with 16 solo voices, forming a large American-style orchestra enriched by a big band. This particular formation will allow the compositions to be rendered at their best, offering a unique and recognizable sound.
The work of Maestro Di Lella
Maestro Gerardo Di Lella personally took care of the arrangements, maintaining a faithful adherence to the original versions of the films. This approach aims to make viewers relive the emotions of the films through music, offering a new listening experience.
A musical challenge
Maestro Di Lella stated that working on these arrangements was a complex and stimulating task. Disney music, in fact, encompasses a variety of musical genres, from jazz to pop, through symphonic and ethnic. “It was a challenge with myself and a huge learning opportunity,” he said. The goal is to ensure that the public can appreciate these musics that have marked generations all over the world.

This Disney music concert looks really interesting, but I don't know if I'll be able to go. I heard the orchestra is very good, but will there be seats? Let's hope so.
