People's Street
“Via del Popolo”, already awarded as best new Italian text at the UBU Awards 2023, stands out for its profound and symbolic narration. Set in a city in the South, the show uses a stretch of road as a metaphor for contemporary Italy and its social evolution. The plot develops around two protagonists, representing different generations and values, who explore universal themes such as the passage of time, family ties and initiation into adult life.
Constellations
“Constellations” by Nick Payne, directed by Roberto Solofria, focuses on the concept of multiverse applied to couple relationships. The story stages the multiple possibilities that life choices offer, posing to the audience a universal and timeless question: “What would have happened if…?” With essential stage editing and an emotionally engaging interpretation, the show invites spectators to reflect on the consequences of their decisions.
Tickets for both shows can be purchased through the theatre's official website, www.teatrocivico14.it, at a cost of 12 euros for full price and 10 euros for reduced categories.
