This afternoon, the lifeless body of a 74-year-old man was found in Eboli. A neighbor, alarmed by the lack of news from his fellow citizen, reported the body and decided to contact the fire department.
The intervention took place around 15.30 pm, when the firefighters of the local detachment went to the house located in via San Francesco, near piazza Porta Dogana. After entering, they found the body of the elderly man inside the apartment.
The 118 health workers and the Carabinieri also intervened at the site of the discovery. At the moment, preliminary investigations indicate that the man's body does not show signs of violence. The investigations are continuing to determine the causes of death, although the possibility that it was a natural death is not excluded.
