Cellole – A new loss has struck the Aurunci community: a violent collision between a van and a truck, which occurred yesterday evening shortly before 6:00 PM on Via Domiziana, near the Cellole Speedway, caused the death of one man and serious injuries to another.
The person who lost his life was Erasmo Napoletano, a 59-year-old from Sessa Aurunca, well-respected and well-known in the area for having managed the train station bar for a long time, together with his family. The news of his death has caused deep grief among his fellow citizens, who remember him fondly on social networks.
The rescue team arrived promptly on the scene of theaccident, could not do anything to save the man, who died instantly. The other driver, however, was transported in red code to the “Pineta Grande Hospital” in Castel Volturno, where he is hospitalized in intensive care.
