A Cinematic Tribute
Luca Manfredi, son of Nino Manfredi, took part in the event by presenting his biopic “Come è umana lui”, dedicated to Paolo Villaggio. This television film, broadcast last year on Rai 1, allowed Manfredi to receive the “Premio Penisola Sorrentina” for cinema and audiovisual.
Prizes and Awards
The award was presented in Sorrento, on the eve of this important anniversary, by Rosanna Romano, general director of Cultural Policies and Tourism of the Campania Region. Luca Manfredi expressed satisfaction for the recognition, underlining the difficulty in choosing the actor for the role of Villaggio, which was entrusted to Enzo Paci, from the Genoa school.
The “Premio Penisola Sorrentina” is one of the most recognized in Italy, supported by the Municipality of Sorrento and dedicated to cinema, culture and live entertainment. In the 2025 edition, the award will turn thirty, testifying to its relevance in the national artistic panorama.
