The appointment with the theater is set for Saturday, January 26, 2025, at 19.00:10 p.m., at the Sala Teatro Palazzo Fazio, located in via Seminario XNUMX in Capua, in the province of Caserta. The theater company "Bagaria" of Torre del Greco will stage a show entitled "Trame di palco", a tribute in verse, prose and music dedicated to Nino Taranto.
Ideation and Show
The show, conceived and directed by Francesco Rivieccio, sees him as the main performer. The soundtrack will be performed live by Lucio De Filippis, thus enriching the theatrical experience. The assistant director is entrusted to Tammaro Shanti, while the costumes are curated by Lucia Rossi. The scenic elements are created by Luigi Dato, and the lighting design is by Catello Massa.
Director's Notes
The show is presented as a plot made of old theatrical costumes and an abandoned stage, narrated by a company tailor. It develops through memories and props, such as broken hats and suitcases. The homage to Nino Taranto is also seen as a homage to the entire city of Naples, thanks to the great heart of the artist who interpreted characters by Viviani and staged by Pisano and Cioffi. Taranto, author of monologues and parodies, is remembered through pieces of prose and music, offering the audience a journey into his artistic legacy.
