Tennis world champion Jannik Sinner wins the Australian Open for the second time in a row, beating German Alexander Zverev in the final 6-3, 7-6, 6-3.
Sinner doesn't miss a beat and in his third Slam final he wins his third title in a Major, confirming his absolute number one status, dominating the entire Australian tournament.
A one-sided match in the final against the German Zverev, closed on the first match point with a now 'classic' drop shot, where the German barely reached and a passing shot that stunned 'Sasha's' dreams of winning his first title, but the zero break points for Zverev during the entire match speak volumes about the superiority of the Italian champion who also becomes the fifth player in history to win three consecutive Slams on hard courts after Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Ivan Lendl and John McEnroe.
For Sinner it is the 19th title of his career, the 17th on hard courts. This time Sinner did not need any comeback against Zverev (in his third Slam final lost in his career) who was never able to find continuity in the match and did not take advantage of the only opportunity he had in the tie-break of the second set.
Sinner he did not give any chances in his service games, with almost 90% of points won with the first, with the Italian insisting a lot on the German's forehand diagonal. After a first set bordering on perfection, Sinner reached the tie-break in a balanced second set, resolved 7-4 after winning two delicate service games. No problems then for Sinner in the third set with the break in the sixth game, which allowed him to close the practical 6-3.

It was a good match, but I don't understand how Zverev couldn't even make a single break point. Sinner played well, but sometimes I thought Zverev could do better but nothing.
