This year Francesco De Gregori celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of “Rimmel,” his fourth studio album, released in 1975 and a milestone in Italian music.
To celebrate this masterpiece that has marked entire generations with unforgettable songs such as “Pablo”, “Buonanotte Fiorellino” and “Rimmel” itself, fragments of a puzzle made up of many small stories that have remained imprinted in the collective memory, the Roman singer-songwriter will embark on a tour dedicated to the album “Rimmel 2025 – Teatri Palasport Club”, preceded by some special summer dates.
On September 15th he will perform in Piazza Carlo di Borbone at Palace of Caserta, on the occasion of the tenth edition of the Un'Estate da Belvedere festival. The artist had already paid homage to the fortieth anniversary of “Rimmel” in 2015 at the Arena with a memorable concert. Ten years later, he returns to the same place for a special evening that represents a tribute to one of the most important albums of Italian singer-songwriter music.
The “Rimmel 2025 – Teatri Palasport Club” tour will begin in the fall of 2025 with a series of concerts in Italian theaters, scheduled between October and November, and will then continue in the Milan and Rome sports halls in December of the same year.
To close this musical journey, in January and February 2026, De Gregori will perform in clubs, bringing his music back to a more intimate and intimate atmosphere. The audience will thus have the opportunity to experience the emotions of “Rimmel” and the singer-songwriter's vast repertoire in different contexts, passing from unique locations, to the magic of theaters, from the power of arenas, to the intimate atmosphere of clubs that create a direct and spontaneous connection between musicians and spectators.
