The extraordinary checks by the State Police, organized by the Naples Police Headquarters, continue to combat the illegal possession of weapons and drug trafficking in the Campania capital and in the municipalities of the province.
Yesterday, the officers of the Police Station of frattamaggiore, engaged in a patrol service, stopped a young man in via I Traversa Roma. The boy had been noticed while he was giving an object in exchange for a banknote to another person, who quickly moved away.
The immediate intervention of the agents allowed them to stop the 16-year-old, of Tunisian origin, found in possession of 15 packages containing approximately 22 grams of hashish and a switchblade with a 7-centimeter long blade.
The young man was reported for illegal possession of narcotics and possession of weapons or objects capable of causing offence. Police operations will continue with the aim of intensifying security on the territory.
