The confiscated Casa Mehari in Quarto will host a not-to-be-missed musical event on Saturday, January 11th. Gianfranco Caliendo, known as the legendary vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter of the group "Il Giardino dei Semplici," will perform at 19:30 PM with the concert "Memories of a Long Hair Guy."
During the event, the musician will retrace the fifty years of his artistic career, performing some of his greatest hits, including “M'innamorai”, “Miele” and “Tu ca nun chiagne”. Caliendo will be accompanied by Giada Caliendo, remembered for the success “Turuturu” in 2001.

A social valorization project
The event is part of the program “Casa Mehari in festa: dai beni confiscati ai beni in comune”, funded by the Campania Region. During the evening, a bar managed by the Social Cooperative “La Quercia Rossa” will be open, and solidarity packages offered by the association “La Bottega dei Semplici Pensieri” will be available. Casa Mehari, named after the journalist Giancarlo Siani and located in via Nicotera, was inaugurated in 2022. This space, dedicated to social and cultural initiatives, represents a symbol of redemption and legality in the area.
