Naples - A 54-year-old jeweler was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for sexual assault against an employee.
The sentence was issued by preliminary hearing judge Alessandra Farina of the Naples North Court, following a summary trial. The episode stems from an incident inside the jewelry store, where the victim, a 30-year-old woman, was allegedly attacked in the back corridor.
The man would have surprised her in that place and would have groped, attempting to commit further acts. The victim, supported by lawyer Sergio Pisani, immediately reported the incident.
This allowed the investigation to begin, which led to the jeweler's conviction, confirming the seriousness of the charges and underscoring the importance of filing an immediate complaint to initiate legal proceedings.
