The Minister for Public Administration, Paul Zangrillo, was a guest of honor in Caivano for the Renewal of the Council of Girls and Boys, an initiative born within the framework of the Municipality's redevelopment program, launched last March 20th.
The Minister's visit began in Caputo Street, at the school complex Cilea-Mameli, where the new ones were inaugurated interactive labs dedicated to the young musician Giovanbattista Cutolo, known as Giogiò, who tragically passed away in August 2023. Giogiò's mother was also present at the event, in a moment of great emotion and meaning for the community.
Subsequently, the ceremony for the renewal of the Institute took place in the auditorium of the Institute. During the ceremony, the young councilors presented new proposals for the Caivano area, demonstrating their commitment and desire to contribute to the well-being of the community.
Among those present were also representatives of local and national institutions, including the Deputy Prefect of Naples Frank Fig, the Attorney General of North Naples Maria Antonietta Troncone, the Extraordinary Commissioner Fabio Ciciliano, the Extraordinary Commission of Caivano (Filippo Dispenza, Simonetta Calcaterra and Maurizio Alicandro), the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri of Naples Biagio Storniolo, the Regional Director of the Fire Brigade Emanuel Franculli, and the Director of the Campania Regional School Office Hector Acerra.
The “Ladder of Rights and Duties”
After the ceremony, Minister Zangrillo reached the headquarters of the Municipality of Caivano for the presentation of the “Ladder of rights and duties”, a project created by the children of the Council. Here, a delegation of young people explained the meaning of the initiative, telling how this ladder symbolically represents the path of civic growth and responsibility.
The day ended with a meeting between the Minister and the recently hired employees in local government. An important moment, which underlined the commitment of the Municipality and the central institutions in supporting the renewal and growth of a community that looks to the future with hope and determination. “A symbolic but concrete day”, commented the Minister Zangrillo, “to reaffirm the importance of rights and duties, not only for the little ones, but for the entire community of Caivano.”
