Roccaraso (L'Aquila) – A serious accident occurred in the early afternoon today in the Aremogna ski area, in Roccaraso. An 18-year-old girl, originally from Naples, fell during a descent, suffering serious head and facial trauma. The girl's conditions immediately appeared critical.
After first aid at the hospital in Castel di Sangro, it was necessary to urgently transfer him to the hospital "Cardarelli” of Naples. The impossibility of using a helicopter for recovery, due to adverse weather conditions, forced the medical staff to opt for transport by ambulance.
The young woman is currently hospitalized with a reserved prognosis. The accident occurred in a context of difficult weather conditions, which could have influenced the intervention of the rescuers and the incident. Checks are underway on site to ascertain the dynamics of the accident.
