The "Scena Segreta" Artistic Academy has begun to take shape in Sessa Cilento, thanks to the support of the Municipality and the Ministry of Culture, as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. This ambitious initiative, conceived by Teatro Segreto, under the direction of director Nadia Baldi, aims to transform the Cilento area into a vibrant hub of artistic creativity.
### Free Development and Training
The academy offers a valuable opportunity for growth through free courses designed to train artists and professionals in the entertainment industry. The evocative Palazzo Coppola will host seven courses covering a wide range of disciplines, from acting to dance, from music to theater history, and even audio-video production techniques, with a particular focus on legality and environmental sustainability.
### Participation and Applications
A total of twenty-four aspiring artists will have access to this training, divided into two distinct paths: one dedicated to young residents in the province of Salerno under 18 and another open to adults without age limits. The activities are planned from April to September and will develop in 72 meetings lasting 4 hours each.
### Selection Process
Registration will remain open until February 20, 2025, and can be completed through the official websites [www.palazzocoppola.it](https://www.palazzocoppola.it) and [www.festivalsegretidautore.it](https://www.festivalsegretidautore.it). To apply, in addition to the registration form, a copy of your ID and a cover letter are required. Candidates will be selected by an evaluation committee composed of industry experts, who will consider factors such as motivation, artistic talent, and regular participation.

The initiative of the Art Academy is very interesting, but I don't know if there is enough information about the selection process. I hope that many young people participate and that the academy will be able to train good and competent artists.
