The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, met with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, at the Quirinale Palace. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli.

The meeting between the two leaders comes in a context of growing international attention to the situation in Ukraine.

This visit demonstrates the desire to strengthen diplomatic ties and bilateral relations between Italy and Ukraine.
