The song, written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, was released as a single in the United States in 1966 and is part of the album “Aftermath”. Inspired by the opera “Lady Chatterley’s Lover”, the lyrics are linked to imagery of past eras.
Interpretation of Celletti
Alessandra Celletti explains that “Lady Jane” has always fascinated her for its mix of sweetness and mystery, suspended between dream and reality. In her version of the piece, she worked to highlight the “classic” but also modern atmosphere of the song, making it timeless. The artist tried to transport the listener into this musical universe through her piano.
Nostalgia and Future
In a time of year steeped in nostalgia, Celletti reflects on personal memories and key figures from his past. However, he looks to the future with the release of his next album “Stop femicides,” an ambitious project that addresses the issue of femicide. With this work, the artist also presents himself as a singer, performing famous songs linked to the name of woman, shedding new light on important issues.

I've listened to the new version of Lady Jane and I have to say it's very interesting, but Celletti doesn't quite capture the essence of the original. I'd like to hear something more innovative.
It's true, there are some very beautiful elements, but sometimes it seems that it lacks a bit of energy compared to the Rolling Stones version. I hope that in the next works he can bring new ideas.
