The deadline for completing transfer market transactions will expire at midnight on February 3rd.

The end of the so-called repair market is approaching and football teams seem busy these days in finalising deals through exchanges, purchases or loans of players useful for strengthening their teams, in anticipation of the final rush of the championship.

But it's not just football fans and enthusiasts who are following with interest this period of incoming and outgoing movements of their favorite teams: these are also frenetic hours for fantasy football managers, or rather the coaches grappling with Fantacalcio, a game that enthralls millions of Italians in a "parallel" championship and that every year attracts the interest of new followers, transforming anyone who is dragged into it into an attentive, expert and competitive coach.

Here are some suggestions based on the latest news, useful for those who are preparing to meet at the end of the month aiming for the transfer market move that turns out to be a winner in their own personal League championship or that removes the risk of placing last, with the probable consequent burden of having to offer a dinner to the other participants.

It is worth mentioning the recent serious injuries of Orsolini and Lookman: participation in European cups undoubtedly represents prestige, but one pays the price of playing too often and it is often the muscles of the players that pay the price.

Four weeks of stoppage for the first, at least three for the Nigerian; two pawns, who until now had given joy to the fantasy football managers who own their registration in their teams, will reserve some disappointment in the near future due to the expected forced absence: it is therefore necessary to think about their replacement.

Como are producing an excellent game thanks to their coach Fabregas and are unleashed on the market: it is right then to focus on their latest acquisitions in midfield, the Senegalese Diao (naturalized Spanish), the English international Dele Alli – midfielder coming from Besiktas – but also Jonathan Ikonè, who just in these hours has landed at the Como club, loaned from Fiorentina.

For the attack, eyes are on Raspadori, who could land at Gasperini's court following the unexpected event that happened to Lookman, going to reinforce the DEA attacking trio alongside Retegui and De Ketelaere.

Atalanta are also waiting for the recovery of Scamacca, another striker to invest in in the second part of the championship.

In defense, the new Monza signing, Stefan Lekovic, coming from Villareal on loan with the right to buy, will be tested and could turn out to be a lucky surprise. Also to follow is the negotiation between Napoli and Fiorentina, with Biraghi who could go to reinforce the defensive department of the league leaders.

The hottest hours of the January market are now approaching and keeping up to date with the Fantamercato therefore seems essential.

It is interesting to see how the transfer market can affect teams in the league. Of course, the absences of Orsolini and Lookman can complicate the plans, but there are also many opportunities to buy that can prove advantageous.
